The Gaylord Method of Kajukenbo Kenpo Karate

Kajukenbo is an eclectic American fighting art based on Asian models.  Founded in 1947, it is by far the most successful and practical of all modern eclectic methods.  It is a combination of Karate [Ka]; Jujutsu and Judo [ju]; Kenpo [ken]; Chinese Boxing, or what we would now call Kung-Fu, and Western Boxing [bo].  Kajukenbo is specifically designed for modern self-defense in the harshest of American environments.  Instruction is in the lineage of the highly regarded Grandmaster, Professor Charles Gaylord.  A Kajukenbo specific group class is held Sat. afternoons from 12:00 to 1:00 PM. Private instruction is scheduled with one’s personal instructor.
